Programming the RV/Light Truck Display Module:

*CP – Cold Pressure
*Pd – Pressure Status Alert
*tr – Tire Rotation
*tA – Temperature Warning
*LP – Low Pressure Warning
*PA – Low Pressure Alert
*SL – Temperature Correlation

The tires on your vehicle may require a different cold pressure value than the SmarTire System’s factor setting of 65 psi. You must change the CP, LP, PA and SL settings accordingly to ensure optimum performance for your specific tire application.

1. Turn on the ignition switch (the vehicle does not have to be running) so the SmarTire Display Module lights up and you hear an initial beep.

2. To enter programming-mode, press either the ‘Mode’ keys or tire ‘key’ to enter View Mode. Now hold the Mode and ‘Tire’ keys down simultaneously until ‘CP’ (Cold Pressure) appears on the screen.

3. Press the ‘Tire’ key. You will now see only the two front tire indicators.

4. Press ‘Mode’ key to show the cold pressure factory settings. If this is not the correct pressure reading for your tires, press the ‘Tire’ key to increase or the ‘mode’ key to decrease to the correct settings.

5. To save your changes, press both the ‘Mode’ and ‘Tire’ keys down simultaneously until CP appears on the screen.

6. To set the ‘CP’ value in the other tire locations, repeat steps 3 through to 5, except in step 3 press the ‘tire’ key to select the desired rear tire indicators.

7. Press your ‘Mode’ key once. tr (tire rotation) will now show on your screen.

8. Press ‘Tire’ key four or six times. You will see –an ID number representing the sensor in each tire location. If tire locations are changed it will be necessary to update the ID numbers in the display module by pressing the Mode’ key. Individual ID numbers can only appear once and if ‘ER’ is displayed upon exit check and correct ID error.

9. To save your changes, press the Mode’ and ‘Tire’ keys; simultaneously until you see ‘tr’ on the display.

10. Press the ‘Mode’ key until you see PA (pressure alert) on the display.

11. Press the ‘Tire’ key to display the factory setting. If it is not correct, press ‘Mode’ key to decrease or, ‘Tire’ key to Increase to the desired setting.

12. To save your changes, press the ‘Mode’ and ‘tire’ keys simultaneously until you see PA’ on your screen.

13. Press your ‘Mode’ key until you see ‘LP’ (low pressure warning).

14. Press the ‘Tire’ key to display the factory setting. Press ‘Mode’ key to decrease or, ‘Tire’ key to increase.

15. To save your changes, press the ‘Mode’ and ‘Tire’ keys simultaneously until you see ‘LP’ on your screen.

16. Press the ‘mode-‘key until you see ‘Pd’ (pressure status alert).

17. Press the ‘Tire’ key to set the factory ‘Pd’ setting.

18. Press ‘Mode’ key to decrease or, the ‘Tire’ key to increase the setting.

19. To save your changes, press the ‘Mode’ and ‘Tire’ keys simultaneously until you see ‘Pd’ on your screen.

20. Press the ‘Mode’ key until you see TA (Temperature Warning).

21. Press the ‘Mode’ key to decrease or the ‘Tire’ key to increase.

22. To save your changes, press the ‘Mode’ and ‘Tire’ Keys simultaneously until to see TA on your screen.

23. Press the ‘Mode’ key until you see ‘SL’ (temperature correlation),

24. Press the ‘Mode’ key to decrease or the ‘Tire’ key to increase.

25. To save your changes, press the ‘Mode’ and ‘Tire’ key simultaneously until you see ‘SL’ on your screen.

26. To exit the program mode, press the ‘Mode’ and ‘Tire’ keys simultaneously until the Display is returned to stand-by.

Troubleshooting / Installation Hints

Confirm sensor operation: before mounting the Sensors, plug in the Display Module and then shake the Sensor near the Module. This should activate the Low-pressure Warning mode and display a 0-pressure reading. This test confirms that the Sensor Is Working.

No receptions from a sensor on a vehicle: This may mean there is a reception problem. Position the Display Module Either on the dash or visor and extend the antenna that is located in a groove on the back of the Module.

Activation of viewing functions: After driving for approximately 15 seconds –above 5Mph, the tire indicators will begin to appear on the display. To obtain tire initial pressure readings from all of the sensors, you must drive for approximately 30 Seconds and for initial temperature readings, you must drive for approximately 1 minute. If you are stopping and starting, it make take longer to receive the temperature values as the transmission sequence is reset with every stop.

Based off of the information you have given us we have set your factory settings as followed. You may need to still adjust these settings after you have had your motor home weighed and know what your air pressure should be.
